ok so i tell my mom about my plan (updated plan to come later in this post) and what am i met with? not support let me tell you.

so the plan is:

1. apply to algonquin tv broadcasting
2. if i don't get in work for a year and take the programs that SAW and IFCO offer.
2. if i do get in take the 2 year program.
3. after the 2 year program go to Halifax and take this NSCAD course.


apparently i should not do anything i like and go to any school that will take me and take any course that will accept me. why should i care if i like what i'm studying?

She suggested a number of other schools and scenarios I had thought about. Despite the fact that I said no I had thought about that already. She doesn't seem to get I don't want to leave Ottawa yet, I don't want to spend money on classes I don't care about. Oh what a happy easter weekend this will be.

parents are dumb sometimes. my mom wants me to move back home to the middle of nowhere and work as a stupid customs inspector...just cause i worked there for 2 summers as a student. man, i would not want that job for my life. why don't they ever get that maybe, just maybe, we want something more for ourselves than they did?
