So my Birthday was amazing, probably my best birthday yet, and I was so scared. I don't kow what I thought would happen , like maybe the grim reaper would come and tap his watch and say "finish up whatever you are doing, here, we really need to get going" lol. But no, that did not happen, all my best friends gathered together along with my family. We had a bonfire in the freezing cold upstate NY April and cheesecake and a cake that looked like a rainbow, and LOTS of shrimp on the grill, it was perfect. Probably one of the best birthdays ever, it gave me hope for 30 and everything after, plus I can always lie!
I got bold today and decided to take some pics of my latest paintings, they are in oil, all from the last year, let me know what you think, even if you think they are not great. I NEED feedback, I'm considering doing a show but I need some input first, and you all have been great to me, and honest, which is what I really need. I am not by any means a professional oil painter, I'm just getting into it really, my focus in the past was usually crafty things or negative space pencil designs, I think they are pretty good. .


I hope you are all enjoying you day, it's lovely here for sure, warm and sunny and green. Going to take a LONG walk/hike today with the girls, get outside and try to get some more freckles....................
