Sort of a repost... but more like a simultaneous one.. Wrote this on live journal yesterday.
Success has nothing to do with accomplishment anymore. Success has only to do with acting, putting yourself forward to face the tides of life. The only failure is that of inaction, of indecision, of restraint.

Mill said this in 1859, but 1859 has come and gone. Today there is no lack of innovators. Eager men, and women who are ready and willing to give all that they are to bring about something new. True heroism, true depth of the human spirit lies with those who are unafraid to follow in footsteps that have been made before them. In an age where the world is so ready to accomplish new things, let us rejoice those people who are unashamed to follow a path that has been traveled many times before.

Let us not forget what we have accomplished in our progress. To perform the routines, to follow the trends, to read and write the history of our lives. Quote the wisdom of others, work the land they worked, dream their dreams, and love their lives.
Life is a forest of trees

Honor them, the innovators and pioneers
For without them we would be but rain on the desert sands

So it turns out that that place I mentioned isn't closing. It's just moving, will be run by new management, and all new people will work there...I think I see what you mean.
