Went down to Service Canada today to find out why EI application is still in limbo. Turns out that they need to contact my former manager before they can finalize it.

Not sure, but the fact that it's taking THIS long doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that I will get what I need. Which is sad because tomorrow I will need to get money whether I can afford to or not.
