Whilst flying home to Miami:

I long to fly.
I want to be naked and unbound
hanging freely by my will alone.
I want to push open emergency exit doors
and leap out into eternal freedom.

Crash through the clouds and
get wind caught in my teeth.
And when finally happiness makes me cry
and I am one with all
I will kiss myself goodbye.

Please, if there is ever any doubt
know that this was not suicide
but simply,
my desire to fly outweighed
the known consequence of death.
