I HATEHATEHATE xmas comercials, expecially those ridiculously sappy jewelry ones. If my boyfriend ever bought me a diamond necklace for xmas I would be so confused.

Speeking of boyfriends, mine is leaving me. Like I said earlier he is going down to Miami for two months for a dig (he's an archaeologist). He was going to leave me his car while he was gone so I would be able to go to the grocery store and other hard to access places around town. well, it died.
I can't explain it, but not having the car makes me feel even more alone. I'm already going to be feeling incredibly lonely (we've been together for over two years now) and now on top of being lonely, I'll be frustrated because the simplist things are now going to be hard to manage, which of course will make me feel even more alone.
It's all the little things I'm going to miss the most. Like coming home and having someone there to hug me, going out to the movies, getting a burrito at El Pelone. Intense theoretical conversations while driving around. What I'm going to miss the most is being hugged while I sleep.
We have a week left together.
This will be the first year in my entire life that I haven't spent the new year with someone I love. When I realized that last night, my heart broke.
