So, I still have no job, and (since I was ditched again) not too many friends...
You know, I've been getting down on myself for not having any good friends in Boston. I mean I have friends, but no close friends, nobody that I feel I can call and hang out with whenever.
I think I may have finally figured out why. People are very clicky in Boston. Everyone here already seems to have a group of friends. When you become aquainted with someone and there is the potential of friendship usually you meet all the other friends first. Before you get to move on and become friends with your new aquaintence you must be approved by all their other friends.
This process sucks, because even though all the other friends think you are cool and a nice person, for some reason they never really think twice about how to incorporate you into their little group. So usually, they talk about people you don't know, about events you weren't around for, etc.. Usually you end up feeling very awkward and out of place. And on top of that, nobody in the group really gets a feel for who you are because you never have an opportunity to say anything. It's even apparent in the SGBoston group. You have to have a reccomendation to get in. I understand they don't want any creeps in there, but still... This is precisely what I am talking about.
I hate this!
Dear Universe,
I would like a friend. I know I already have really amazing friends who would do anything for me and love me to the moon, but they are all really far away. I would appreciate it if you could either bring them to me, or find someone for me to hang out with and talk to. A friend, not an aquaintence. I would be forever greatful.

So due to the lack of adventure in my life I have been amusing myself lately. Strange things I've been doing.
For instance, I discovered that the webcam on this computer has a button that allows you to capture an imagine every second while only having to push the button once. So I've been entertaining myself with that lately.
The result?...
