I had a wonderfully 80s day today. I listened to INXS, Duran Duran, and bought The Very Best of the Human League on iTunes... yum!

another thing that was yum was a watermelon pop that i made! nothing better than frozen watermelon on a stick. shaped like a rocket, even!

I had the day off, and as always, had very good intentions of being productive and packing up some things in my apartment. of course that didnt happen. i tried. but i got really intimidated. i didnt know where to start. it was overwhelming and i just didnt have the motivation to get it all organized. i have so much shit. and not enough time to pack it!

McEwen wins! smile That was interesting...Thor fighting til the end and will be in yellow again. I didnt see the hand thing this morning, and you know, I wasnt watching for them at the end but i think they were suppose to ban them in the final 2km. I still wonder about whether it was actually the green hand yesterday?? I could clearly see Thor was hit BEFORE the green hand in the picture...well, whatever..it could have been anything at those speeds.
Too bad for the T-Mobile rider today...Kessler. It looked like he had enough but its hard to outrun a train!

Floyd: Yeah, he is still only 21 sec back overall, one second behind Popovych. We will see in the mountains how strong Floyds team is...Valverde is also one to watch, but he has to make the entire race this year. Keep in mind, Lance was well protected and invisible in the first week. A long way to go still. However, I think Floyd may have been involved in a small crash today near the end? He's ok but that can rattle the nerves, which is what getting past the first week means, when things settle down after that...and riders drop like fliesbiggrin
George is riding awesome this year...gaining confidence daily...attacking or staying just behind the sprinters.
Zabriskie is getting a bit of press even though he isnt that good of a rider overall. He wont finish any closer than 30 minutes down in the end...and just because he is such a good TT rider people are talking about him being a GC guy. He's a nice guy, but a good helper.
