Me & my buddy Kev just scored the RADDEST rent house. The backyard is a tropical paradise - IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING DALLAS, TX no less! Huge, overgrown w/ trees, grass & ivy & w/ a rad deck/porch that's being re-done.

I will eat ALL my summer meals off of the grill and get drunk on my back porch/deck nightly.

the Von Bondies were great. Actually, they really impressed me beyond my expectations. The drummer was a little drunk - so there were some fuckups - but I love that shit. Plus, that dude plays THE HOLY CRAP out of a VERY minimal kit. Good stuff.

I saw the Von Bondies last year and you're right.. guy plays the holy hell out of that little setup. Actually, I think that the new rule is that if you want to rock out, you must have a weird drum thing going on. No proof to substantiate such a claim, but I'll work on it.
