I am harboring fantasies of becoming a tattoo artist again. I did an apprenticeship many, many years ago (12, to be exact) - but the guy who was teaching me: a) wasn't all that good, and b) turned out to be a crack-head... So I never quite took to the medium. I laugh sometimes thinking of all the trash I did on Hollywood crusty punx for free (you get what you pay for, right?). I have 3 blotchy attempts on my own legs, but I kinda like them and have no plans to cover them up. Anyhoo, seeing as I know quite a few supreme badass tattoo artists here in big D, I'm seriously thinking about getting my drawing chops back up to snuff and giving an apprenticeship another go. It's NEVER too late for a career change, right?
