Got back from Capitol City last night with a copy of the 99.9% complete edited & sequenced Gospel Swingers LP and I'm pretty fuckin' stoked about it!
Went shopping w/ the girl all day sunday (she went w/ me) and picked up some neat toys & junk. Watched thousands of bats fly out from under a bridge (it was awesome!), went swimming at the Motel, and then caught the Waistcoats at Beerland - they were swell, and we were hammered. Yaaaay!
Okay, I know I'm not alone here, but 0's set just fucking rules. I had no idea she was such a bombshell. Rrrrrowr!
Currently rockin' the first(?) My Bloody Valentine EP ("this is your bloody valentine"), which goes from sounding like the Scientists (fronted by Peter Murphy circa early Bauhaus), to the Gun Club, to the Birthday Party, to a "gothier" Cramps-ish twang & moan. I totally dig their guitar noise-shoegazer stuff, but this early shit is just awesome! Thanks to Twelvis for making me think about them.
My next tattoo will be a switchblade.

Tonight is blacklight bowling! I'm gonna cram a whole bag of TGIFriday's cheddar and bacon potato chips down Thirsty's piehole right after I roll a turkey and do a backspin on the smooth wooden floor (I'll be sure and wear my Chess King gear and BK shoes for said occasion). Actually I'm prolly just gonna average 113, give Thirsty the bowling related present I bought him, and watch him kick my ass. As per usual.
p.s. Homemade vanilla ice cream + Vanilla Coke = the best ice cream float EVER!!!
