The show was okay. I did in fact lose my voice halfway through our set and the fucking club payed a whopping total of 40 bucks for all 4 bands (!) which the "headlining" band kept all of. I'll assume it was an honest mistake, coz 40 bucks per band itself would have been a joke. There were at least 50 people there (by my headcount) not in bands - so suffice it to say I'm not very happy about this. I hate it when clubs pay their expenses out of the door money (sound & door people, etc...) - it's bullshit. Employees should be paid w/ bar revenue and bands should split ALL the door because they're the only fucking reason people are paying to get into the club. Anyhoo - lesson learned - I'll send them a nasty email about it, and if they want us back (they liked us), they'll have to agree to those terms so the bands don't get fucked again. NOT cool.

I'm moving into my next temporary apt. tomorrow, which doesn't have internet access (unless there's a wireless network I can leach off of), so I'll only have access on weekdays/work days. I REALLY can't wait to find permanent housing. being in limbo just sucks. I miss my stuff.

That, and I'm out of Crown.
