Gogol Bordello was fucking incredible. Their musical math charts have been done to death, but my take is that they remind me of the frantic gypsy band from Black Cat White Cat mixed with the Pogues and then mixed with the Cows (amrep noiserock band)....

fuckin' HELL of a show - they're on tour, so when they come through your town DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!

As it turns out, the Gospel Swingers are gonna be the main support for X when they hit Dallas in Nov - and I am just OOOZING with joy right now. Not only that - they requested us! (the Swingers warmed up for the Original Sinners - and I guess they liked us). I'm all fanboy/starstruck about this coz X is like an all time fave of mine and it's the original lineup. Hell, I was just stoked to get a chance to see this show, much less get to play before them. WOW!!!
