the Von Bondies were great. Actually, they really impressed me beyond my expectations. The drummer was a little drunk - so there were some fuckups - but I love that shit. Plus, that dude plays THE HOLY CRAP out of a VERY minimal kit. Good stuff.

Gogol Bordello was fucking incredible. Their musical math charts have been done to death, but my take is that they remind me of the frantic gypsy band from Black Cat White Cat mixed with the Pogues and then mixed with the Cows (amrep noiserock band)....

I'm stayin home tommorrow and hopefully I'll be fit for tuesday. maybe we can practice that night, or wednesday.
