I give up. I joined this site a couple of years ago, because a friend promised he'd be able to help me meet people who could appreciate my intelligence and creativity.

He lied.

In all this time, I've only met one person who valued the fact that I have at least a seventh-grade command of the English language, particularly in the areas of spelling and grammar. And she's much too busy to talk to me anymore.

So I'm letting this account die.
