I think I had to smack my face into concrete (which I really did last night, pretty painful shit, espesh when you are sober and all) before continuing to work on my current project, Being Alex Diamond.
A project which already took me a year so far with photoshootings, material testing, and crosspainting the final lambda prints, which I exhibited in Barcelona until last week. And it is far from being completed. More shootings ahead of me, a show and a book/catalogue coming up later in 2009. I am also constantly working on other things like more drawings and tattoo designs and a very individual painting which will be shown at a group exhibition in I think a month's time, and which will feature creatures and suicidegirls (who are just the perfect models for my drawings!).
I had 6 shootings so far, and 3 lined up, and am still looking for 3-4 more people who could become Alex Diamond for this project. They won't all be nekkid pics in the end (but a lot I guess, and I still do need a guy to take it al off in front of my camera) - this project is about the diversity and interchangeability and projection of an artist persona which never really existed (damn, why did the pain feel so real then yesterday?). Anyway, would take too long to explain here ...
So, I managed to pre-work on the last shooting I did for this project, and here are first results. at the end of the day I will pick approx. 2 shots from that set and work on them like on all the others, which I've posted in parts in this blog before, or just check the spoiler here again:

Enjoy the first step ... I am never talking about who the person behind the mask is (it is always Alex Diamond!!!), but I just wanted to say that I am so happy that lolicon crossed my path ...
oh, and for those who love the drawings ... this I drew into my last catalogue for a really dear person when she went away for ... who knows how long.
