I'm still alive... tired but alive....
Just a short update:
The new apartment is lovely! It's quiet, no drug dealing in the parking lot, rat-free, bright. Very purdy. Still a little broke, but thankfully I could scrape up enough to get my cable and Internet back up again. I missed you guys!
Unfortunately (or is that thankfully?) not too much else to report. I gained several more gray hairs last month when Babygirl got caught in the middle of a DUI/hit and run/road rage car accident. She was not injured, but the driver of an involved car was taken away with a broken neck. So I think we've proven the adage about god protecting fools (the DUI driver, who was apprehended) and little children.
