So I'm just about sick and tired of these plastic barbie dolls I see plasteredall over todays magazines and on t.v. Perfect example? This "Girls Next Door" show, about Hef's girlfriends? I mean don't get me wrong, this man is a genius! Seriously, he's revolutionized the way we think about sex and the female figure but I mean COME ON! Lets get a little more realistic with women for crying out loud! I really think its time for a return of real women in society! No more plastic surgery, breast enhancement, trying to change ourselves to fit some outrageous unrealistic idea of what "beauty should look like." We are ALL beautiful dammit! We should embrace our flaws, they are all that makes us who we are. I would love JUST LOVE to see ONE woman on the cover of a magazine without a fake orange tan and pasted on breasts, who is rail thin and obviously air brushed. I mean seriously...
Marilyn Monroe, Mae West, these gorgeous beauties would be turned away in Hollywood today considering they were average size 14!

The next time you look at these magazines or watch these shows, remember this. Its ridiculous. These are not the women we should look up to. We should not nip and tuck and wretch and gag until we fit the image we see. We should embrace and love ourselves. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
