No PhD for me. I'm now wondering whether I should just give up on the whole academia plan, go elsewhere. I'd pinned a lot of my hopes on this studentship, and I my usual self-confidence wasn't enough to overcome little things like being unqualified and unexperienced. There's a slight maybe attached, because it's possible that they'll be able to find me money to take me on as a second student, but it's looking very unlikely at the moment.

So. Job suggestions for physics graduates?
