Still a noob on this site, but so far I am having an amazing time on here. Everyone that I have talked to or heard from has been great. The girls on here are gorgeous, and every day I start thinking about how I can convince my BF to let me try to be an SG (He doesnt really want too many pics of me floating around on the internet).
Anyways, one of the things I have noticed is just how many random friend requests that I have got so far. Is this normal? In a few days Ive had over 20 friend requests from guys that have never even said hi to me. I dont know what the request etiquette on a site like this is, but I have no intention of adding random guys like that. A few of them sent a little hey how are you message that I thought was cute, and I checked out their profiles cause I was going to accept and one of them had over 2000 friends!!
Again, Im not sure what everyone else on here does.. if people do or should accept just anyone, but isnt that the whole point of making pics and blogs private? So not just any random person can see your stuff? I just think that these guys adding every girl they have never talked to is kinda sketchy.
Dont get me wrong, I am here to have fun. I want to meet new people, and hope to make lots of real friends.. but I have a boyfriend (jealous one at that) and will not be just another number on some guys friends list.
So, I want some feedback here. What does everyone else do? Just add everyone? Just add people that at least say hi? Only add people that you message with?

For me, personally, I don't like to add anyone unless we've had at least one interaction. And I rarely request others' friendships. I let them do the requesting. Mostly because I'm a guy and i know the girls on here probably get bombarded with requests from men! LOL
I used to add anyone that requested me, but I realized that a lot of the requests were for girls that simply wanted more traffic on their hopefuls sets. Nothing wrong with that, but if I'm going to friend someone, I'd like it to be because they find me or my blogs interesting and/or desire to have some sort of ongoing communication. That's just me.
