Went to see Pearl Jam in Leeds last night and they were Amazing! The 4th time I've seen them and they've been great almost every time(The exception was when I saw them in Hyde Park a few years back and the drunken assholes stood around me and my bro didn't stop chatting and trying to pick fights through the entire set)
Last night, there were no support acts, they played for almost 3 and a half hours and to be honest, the time flew by. IMO there are very few bands who can play for over 3 hours and still have loads and loads of great songs that they didn't play.
I can't wait for them to come back to the UK!
Anyone else been to any great gigs recently?

@maggie_fracture I'm not actually from Leeds(I'm from near Lancaster) so I didn't know about the Cockpit. It's a shame when these smaller venues close. Large arenas are alright but there's nothing like seeing bands in a more intimate setting.

Ah right. Yea, you're so right! Apparently the building wasn't structurally sound so it's having to close. Better safe than sorry I guess.
