Hey everyone!
I know I haven't been the most active lately, but I've been trying to get my mind right immersing myself in AA. My sponsor has given me so much awesome advice these past months, but I think the top thing she's said (and the one that irritates me the most)
IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS
That is a hard concept for me to practice. What other people do? None of my business. What other people think of me? None of my business. Why that person is driving like an asshole? None of my business. The only thing that IS my business, is the way I handle myself, specifically my actions and responses.
I have spent so much time worrying about shit that is applicable to the "none of my business" rule. It caused my mass amounts of unnecessary stress wondering about the business of other people. At the end of the day, their actions don't affect. If they have negative shit to say about me, fuck them. My life has a bit of serenity and a lot less stress now that I focus all of my energy on MY business and not other peoples.
