so im pretty sure that i'll NEVER understand the male of our species.

situation:

boy sees you at bar. figures out that your best friend is seeing his roommate (via myspace, of course, just like EVERYTHING ELSE). asks to be introduced. boy is very attractive, intellegent, and likes the same movies/cartoons/tv shows that you do. of course, you are smitten, but keeping it cool. (it's how i do.)

hang out with boy again, end up talking all night, and end up sleeping in his bed (nothing, and i mean NOTHING happened except an awesome cuddleing session). so then boy tells your best friend that you're "amazing, i've never met a girl who i felt like i could have a conversation with like that before" etc etc etc.

so you, are like, oh cool, a dude who isnt a jerkface! so you send him a myspace message that says "had a good time hanging out with you, hope to do it again soon."

doesnt reply, just adds you.

few days go by, you dont see/hear from him, but you dont really care either way. call your friend to meet you at the bar, and she does. boy lives right around the corner, and wants you to stop by. you get there, boys are playing video games (which im totally cool with, by the by), and you just sit and watch. so then basically the whole night goes by without the boy even saying hardly anything to you. like, 2 effing hours.

then he goes to bed.

ugh. maybe he was just stoned. oh well. im going out friday and it's going to be amazing. i'll just leave THAT at THAT.
