Some days i love my work. My last half hour of work time last night was spent watching a 3 month old great dane puppy wrestle with a 7 month old shelter mix puppy. It was the cutest thing ever, especially when two little beagles showed up and joined in the fun. Working in a vet hospital does have its perks.
Sometimes i wish that...

your kitty is so cute! yeah... you're lucky it's fun for you. i'm from a huge family, so it gets a little stressul when they are all coming at you at once. surreal
tiger__10:
Damn I have to say that is by far the raddest fucking cat I've ever seen in my life... but you already knew that. Hey ask Matt how the Vodka is coming along skull

wow. that one has a tongue piercing. hard core.

sorry. i'm cynical.

(rant #3) kiss

i'm with ya grrl! promise not to make fun of me when i go up? confused

rant #2: what exactly makes a suicide girl? i was under the impression that they were girls who look alternative, with tattoos and/or piercings, or at least give off an "i don't give a shit about conformity" attitude through their pictures. since when did a "nice rack" and a fuckin nose stud qualify someone as a suicide girl.

In response to...

Rant #1: Blame digital photography. People seems to think that no film automatically equals simple point and shoot (i.e., nobody knows how to use the damn things.) We take shitty photos because we have made it too easy.

Rant #2: It's too damn trendy to be an SG. (Of course, if I were Missy I would be laughing all the way to the bank.)
wallace:
what a coincidence we were both at cha cha cha that day! awesome.

Rant: what is with all the new girls sets being of poor quality? Most of them are blurry, out of focus and shot in boring, unsightly locations (in front of some blinds in a house, in an unmade bed, rolling around on dirty carpet). You'd think if they were trying to get onto the site the photo sets they submit would actually be good....

misery:
YEAH!! i second your rant. i promise the set i sent in is not unsightly! but, it may be a teeny bit blurry cuz my photographer (aka boyfriend ha ha) is not the most experienced. but, it's not nearly as bad as the stuff on here lately. hopefully, they'll accept mine, as i haven't heard the final word from missy yet. but, i digress ~ the unmade bed, dirty carpet, etc. is just plain unexcuseable. you could easily clean up a little before you get nakey. surreal
cozza:
I third your rant. I'm a film major so I just get annoyed at the lighting, the angle, the composition. I think it's a result of all the people who say "just get a decent camera and your friend can shoot it" because a camera doesn't mean your friend knows jack shit about photography. So annoying. I've just given on looking at the new sets. I saw India had a new one up and that's the only one I've looked at in a few weeks. Bleh!

Wow, talk about a shitty line to wait in! Last night we didn't get to the party until around 11:30 (fashionably late, of course). When we all left our house it wasn't raining at all, a block away it started to sprinkle, and another block later we were running across busy SF streets in the pouring rain. Of course we forgot to bring umbrellas which...

They've never been able to mix themselves out of a paper sack is my understanding of things. I got pretty disenchanted with the "producers who DJ = concert" thing sometime ago when I discovered that 80% don't take the time to really get good at mixing. The one's that do might rock your world, but paying a premium to see some sloshed guy who maybe makes good records just bums me out.

End rant.

It's this odd mix of blue and grey in the city today, like the weather can't make up it's mind. Quite odd.

Santa Cruz was a blast, what a surprise. We were able to meet up with lots of old friends and drank our way through the town (just like to good old days). We might be heading down there again before the end of the month.

Valentine's day came and went in the usual fashion. I'm not one to really celebrate hallmark holidays, like this one...

misery:
your humping kitty is sooo cute! he's very pretty, too. is he a purebreed?
misery:
that sux about the bartending thing...i bet it is really hard to get a gig out there in the big city with all the competition and whatnot. whatever believe it or not, it's even hard to get a bartending job in little old Toledo!
that's so funny about your kitty! my black cat has an amazing libido as well. i'm just lucky he doesn't try to hump any of his kitty buddies! shocked

Animal Cops: San Francisco premiered last night and I didn't actually get to see it since we don't have cable frown There is a slight chance that the back of my head may be in one of the episodes (big deal, huh?) I am postive that my coworkers will be in several episodes but i'm not sure which ones.

In other news, there is no other...

Woohoo!! Jury duty is officially done. We gave the plantiff $350 total, although i'm sure she was hoping for something more in the $10,000 - $100,000+ range. That's what happens when you don't prove your case to the jury wink

Currently enjoying a post-trial martini (yes, i'm an alcoholic, as my name clearly states).

i wish i had something more interesting to post. c'est la vie.
scandalous:
Thanx for the compliment on my 1st set!! kiss

Jury Duty still sucks.

At least my work pays me for days that I miss due to my civil service.
