Poor, poor little Ember was finally euthanized a few days ago 
The doctors did all they could, but as the days went on the severity of the burn really showed. Turns out the burns were really deep and the skin was basically peeling off her belly, rear legs and genitalia, leaving nothing to pull over to cover the wounds or any chance of the skin to grow over. She looked like crap and smelled of death (literally rotting flesh 
) but she would always wag her tail and act all sweet whenever you saw her. Its heartbreaking.
Luckily her real owners were able to see her before she was put down. So yes, she had actual owners, and no they were not the ones who lit her on fire. But the whole incident is still under investigation so I can't write about it. Though there is a $10,000 reward out for information leading to the arrest of the arsonist (/murderer).
