Why is Indian food so goddamn tasty? My heaven would be an ocean of chicken korma, a coast line of rice and an endless supply of naan. *drool*

Last night I gorged myself on indian deliciousness and then promptly passed out watching The Dark Crystal biggrin I think I was in bed by 10. But I was just making up for all the lost sleep from our party weekend with teknokitty. I realized that I just can't party as well as I used to. Does that mean I'm getting old? or just more responsible? Neither, I hope smile

So basically chicken korma and naan are my favorite food ever. You fucking rock. When I was living in Tokyo over the summer we used to grab it twice a week at this place in Harajuku (yeah, yeah, Gwen Stefani is singing about it all the time now.. I'm so fucking ahead of the curve). The waiter would give us free lassi every time -- it was awesome. I had it two Fridays ago and I'm already JONESIN'!

It's actually a painting by Mark Ryden called "Clear Hearts, Grey Flowers." You can see it at his website, www.markryden.com. I'm trying to find another good Ryden image to put in the soft inner arm, I was thinking about this little robot boy he has, but haven't quite decided.

I fucking LOVE indian food. There is not a single indian place in my town, though. I have to go to the next town over to get my chicken vindaloo fix. They also have chicken tikka stuffed naan, which is pretty good. The food at that place is so mediocre, though, and too expensive. But it's amazing how mediocre indian food is still better than good anything else.
