Today has been full of meat and sunshine. We went to the Cherry Blossom Festival and snagged some tasty bbq spare ribs with kim chee (god i love that shit!). The actual event was pretty lame. There were lots of random booths but nothing interesting, either flea market type trinkets or info booths about donating blood, chiropractic services, and even a california highway patrol booth. What the hell do these things have to do with Japanese cuture? I was happy to get my bbq though.
I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing up my burning man skirt. There are a few pictures in my album. Check it out! It will be so perfect for those 98 degree days. And i'll achieve some nifty tan lines as well

Apparently the spare ribs weren't sufficient for our meat craving. We decided to bbq at home since it was such a damn nice day out. This time it was turkey burgers and tater tots. Dinner of champions.
