Well the tattoo was a go for this weekend until i got a gnarly cat bite at work!! My right index finger is all swollen, i had to go to the ER for a tetnus shot and antibiotics. Granted this is an occupation hazzard that I'm well aware of, but the timing couldn't have been worse! My doc is recommending not to get inked this weekend since my body is already dealing with one infection. Fuck! We had to plan this tat session almost 2 months ago!
I'm just keeping my fingers crossed (which i can't do with my right swollen one!) that tomorrow it will look much better and no longer red and swollen and then i could go though with the tattoo. . .

i had a cat bite two years ago and it got so bad it took TWO visits to the ER. brace yourself. antibiotics and lingering effects for a month.

Erg, I hope you were able to get your tat hun. I'd be so obstinate if I was in your situation and probably get the tattoo anyway. But I never said that would be a smart thing to do.
