I just went and saw the Decent 2. And it was so BLOODY good!

Sequels are usually a time to cringe, but this one was just plain awesome. Stoked!!

Hated as in I strongly believe it is a BAD movie. I found it more unpleasant than scary. But I also hate the SAW films, I'm into horror but I prefer the zombie/werewolf/chainsaw horror.

More good news. A mutual friend of mine runs their own very successful SPFX company. So all going to plan i should be learning the art by early next year when their courses start!!

I can't wait!!!

A career change is on the horizon.
After 10 years in the hospitality industry i'm needing a change.
And i'm thinking of doing a course in special FX makeup. But i'm not sure where to look.
Does anyone out there know where i should start?

I just saw Cannibal Corpse play after getting a last minute free ticket. I was working at the time across the road from the venue. Haha! Just ran over the road and into the gig. It was Brutal!!!!!

Spent the last 2 hours searching for deals on laptops and desktops!!!

My faithful little laptop is just about stuffed. It's gotta be over 4 years old. And it's probably just had enough. I guess it's seen a lot. Plenty of zombie movies.Grim news stories from around the world. Gig upon gig of nasty old death metal. And not to mention porn of all varieties....

I went and saw Gin Wigmore tonight.

It's not normally my thing, but my mate is drumming in her band so i went along.

I just came home from the pub. I often go to my local on a Tuesday afternoon and night. I know most of the people who come along on Tuesday, and I wanted to go have a drink after my Uni class today.
I'm back at home now but fairly tired. Not a bad day overall. I had to give a class presentation for Anthropology today, I'm just glad it's all over and done with.
