I'm on vacation this week, at last. Work has been running short handed up to now, and I'm hoping the newbie doesn't drop out on us.
So what have I been doing? Messing with my coin collection, putting it almost entirely into 2 inch by 2 inch cardboard flips, and bingeing Cobra Kai (which, if you enjoyed at least one of the Karate Kid movies from the 1980's, you'll probably get a kick out of).
I still have Legend of Korra to finish, of course. And then... something else. Suggestions?
Oh yes, my partner and I shared a highly indulgent dinner to celebrate the inauguration and the finally successful transfer of power. I'm hoping a lot of literature teachers are adding Sinclair Lewis's It Can't Happen Here to their syllabuses in the coming years. We need the reminder.
