Spent the weekend at a convention in Nashville, had lots of fun, saw lots of friends. I also learned a few lessons in my new attempts at photography.

Lesson one: take extra batteries for the camera. The ones already in it will be low on the first shot.

Lesson two: sometimes the lack of a flash makes pics artsy. Other times, they're just too dark to see a damn thing.

Whoever knew exhibitionism could be so difficult...
