And today is a day off, in which I try to intercept UPS bringing my SATA cable and an IDE to USB converted, for if things go badly otherwise in ghosting my original drive. I have SATA drivers on a floppy, and a boot CD (which I really ought to go ahead and burn, since I haven't yet) with the ghosting software.
So yeah, today is an interesting day. I have a skype game on Wednesday, so this strikes me as a bad time to have my system offline. Hmm...
Bah, enough tech talk! I'm loving Stargate: Universe, and even went back to watch other episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis. I finally got to actually see the end of season 8 of SG-1 ("I thought you said on the tape there weren't fish in your pond..." "Close enough.") and bits and pieces of the last season of Atlantis (why did I stop watching this show? It looks like it really got good after I drifted away). Still delaying on Heroes. Liked bits of Waters of Mars, but wondering what RTD is going to do to screw up Doctor Who on his way out.
Otherwise, life is good.
