Okay, so it's been a while since I've updated...
The microphones (and the new audio setup in general) seemed to work well. I've even got around to setting up a permanent desktop machine in the main room specifically for recording. Tomorrow, though... that shall be the real test.
I have a vacation coming up that I'm really looking forward to. I need a little extra me time.
