So I've had a birthday.

I got a gift card for a bookstore that is almost impossible to get to, and money, which is already earmarked for more microphones and booze.

I love my life. Now if only it would bring my Ghost to me so I can get that over with...

The microphones (and the new audio setup in general) seemed to work well. I've even got around to setting up a permanent desktop machine in the main room specifically for recording. Tomorrow, though... that shall be the real test.

Spent three days offline, more or less, visiting the sort-of-SO. Sometime soon I'm going to have to post an actual deep, meaningful entry, because there is stuff on my mind, but nothing I really have time to go into now.

I don't know how the weekly podcasters do it. I really don't. If I had to edit down an 80 minute file to 60 minutes or so every week, I'd go insane.
