Good afternoon!
Well the third layer of paint is on and dry so here is a current photo. I'm still undecided on how I plan to abstract this image but until I figure that out I'll just keep detailing little parts.
I mixed up about eight different colors trying to decide how to do the skin tones but I think I'm starting to figure it out. This is my first time painting skin so I'm pretty happy with how its going. Tonight after work I'll start up on the next coat of paint. If anyone has suggestions of SG photos to use for the pictures in the frames on the back wall please let me know.
In other news today was my last day of classes before spring break
. I'm looking forward to having a week to work on my crap and not have to worry about classes. I want to squeeze in some time to start a painting outside of class, so I'm taking my camera and sketchbook with me to work. Hopefully I'll find some ideas on when I'm on a delivery.
I'll keep updating the paintings and what not as I go along...
