yea, the kid vs. no kid issue was the 1st thread i really got involved in here. i dont fess up to this on my profile but i'm 33 so most of my friends and peers are starting families now so its a hot button for me.
aside from the minor (major) annoyance that kids can be, i especially dislike how becoming parents makes people also become republicans. suddenly getting what is best for their kids (them) is more important than anyone else. yes, there are plenty of people who overcome that urge and those are the ones that will remain my friends.
