1. mother of god on my throbbing purple cock, what a week it's been! ooo aaa

i've had my head buried in PDF the past couple of weeks. reading now, not just writing. writing you can do the same way every time; reading you gotta take into account the way everybody else writes it. it's been a bitch. on top of it, i had to add a couple of JPG and TIF reading routines because I couldn't find just what I needed in the rest of our code.

2. I got my self-evaluation form for my annual review. puke C'mon. I get shit done. There's an occasional complaint, but it's mostly top quality. k? no? sigh

3. DUI school the next few days. Sat and Sun 9-5, Mon
and Tue 7-10 pm. Yet again, I am reminded what a stupid fuck i can be, for all my big MIT brains and stuff. blackeyed

4. My brother and my nephew are in my house, and apparently will be until the middle of October. Money has disappeared. The lawnmower gas disappears, yet the lawn gets no shorter. DVDs are being left out of their cases. mad mad mad The kid had a job for like 2 days as host at a local restaurant. He got fired because he apparently wasn't upbeat enough. Somebody ate my last Edy's frozen lemonade bar. The controls on my stereo are always getting changed. Dishes pile up. et cetera. They *do* make dinner and get credit for that.

5. Ain't hung out with y'all enough lately. I will rectify that, but per (3) above, it won't be this weekend.

my client had a prior conviction for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana. under georgia law, if a person is convicted of a second (or more) possession with intent to distribute or trafficking drug offense, the state can seek life imprisonment, if they give the defense sufficient notice. However, the judge does not have to impose a life sentence. In that case, the client would face a maximum sentence of 40 years and a minimum fine of $200,000! the state was playing hardball because of my client's prior record. however, they do that on most every case. but, they are learning slowly that I can play hardball as well.
