Ahh, spring. When a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of the riding season. And love, I guess they say. I washed the bike last week, and adjusted the shifter. She feels right.
The love thing? I was thinking on the way home how it would rock to have somebody hanging on behind me. But I'm not sweating it too much. I'll get by with a little help from my friends.
Jane has her oral board certification exam this weekend, I think. It's her 5th try. I think about her a lot and have to remind myself of the reasons it didn't work - and wouldn't again.
In the CD Player right now is Virtuoso: Word War II - Evolution of the Torturer. But since I'm on the bike, I can't really listen to it.
Sounds like my pizza's here.

Did you know that Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) was originally called Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)? They changed the name to protect the innocent. The word nuclear gives Merkins the heebie-jeebies. I wonder if that'll go away as we, the last generations to grow up with memory of the cold ware, die off. Maybe not, given the ever-present possibility of meltdown, disposal problems of waste, etc.

Cold ware??? ware?! I wasn't talkin' 'bout potato salad. I meant cold war.
