I really hate to update, since my last entry had a comment from Twwly.
But, I just finished watching Gangs of New York. It's epic, truly, down to its 2.5+ hour running time. DiCaprio overacted (as I feel is typical of him), but Daniel Day-Lewis was brilliant - I mean "holy shit" brilliant - as the flamboyant antagonist Bill Cutting.
I've spent my weekend pretty much reading and watching movies. In addition to "Gangs of New York", I watched "Cool Runnings", which was a lot of fun. I miss John Candy, whose role here was atypical. Bram Stoker's Dracula just came on, and I'd like to stay up for it, but it's bedtime.
Reading-wise, I finished "Kafka on the Shore" by Haruki Murakami only hourse ago. It's a wholly engaging book, but I came away feeling unsatisfied. It seems like there's an overarching moral that I'm not grasping.
Since Jane and I broke up, I've certainly gotten a lot more reading done. I think about her a lot, though, and I saw Ghostbusters II this weekend. Jane looks a lot like Sigourney Weaver, and I didn't even notice until just a few months ago. I'm trying to resist emailing a mutual friend to see how she's doing. I'm sure that, one way or another, she's managing.
This RTF stuff I've been doing has me anxious about work. I'm sure it's something I can get over, but I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and sit down with the folks who know this shit much more thoroughly than I do.
It sounds like it's really coming down outside. Doubt I'm gonna get to take the bike in tomorrow. But, shit, it's February; I've been spoiled.
Y'all take care. F'real.

*laughs* Indeed, different cemetaries then. But it sounds like you have just a good a view as that other complex. Still, that puts you litterally around the corner from where I live. If ya get bored and wanna grab lunch sometime, let me know.

Man . The weather is supposed to be in the mid 40's to low 50's all week. I'll probably squeeze in a ride on Wednesday or Thursday with the high temp of 53. Gotta bundle up a bit though. Stuzzy was talking about piers anthony, and I found a used copy of Battle Circle on Amazon. I'm about halfway through. Workat all hours for me this week....
