The company I work for sends you a small box of chocolates at your birthday every year. That's pretty neat.

A good friend of the family is in town for a few days. He's a Catholic priest from Pittsburgh. A, um, gay Catholic priest. One night that he was horribly drunk, he made a pass at me. I was 14, I think. It was pretty much a non-event; I just walked away. Of course, I never told mom, and he probably didn't even remember it the next day. Y'all are the first to ever hear this. Anyway, it's just a remembery, and I'm not harboring any ill will or whatnot. He's at my sister's, and I'm gonna head over there tonight for dinner and to shoot the shit.

I just got a call from MIT asking for money. Normally I send them some, but a few years ago, they started this Freshmen On Campus (FOC) program that forces freshmen to - you guessed it - live on campus, instead of in fraternities. This has hit the frats pretty hard, especially ones like mine (TEP) that are very poor people friendly. smile

In the CD player today is Therapy? - So Much For The Ten Year Plan. Yeah, the question mark is part of the group's name.

Fight the power! ARRR!!!

It's funny, but but my outlook on buying music ends up being very strange. I love buying records. Electronic 12" records are printed in small counts usually 5,000 or less. When I buy a 12" it's like, "Hey man , I really love what you made. Thanks for sharing your best" . They end up getting a small chunk of change and they move on, but the track usually lives on in clubs and through remixing. It is so hard to buy a good quality CD from start to finish. It unfortunately comes down to capitalism as always. Amarica is beautiful and ugly at the same time. Give me a quality effort, and I will pay every time !
