Slaying Dragons and hanging out with Fairies at Conwy Castle

Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out at Conwy Castle in Wales with my friend and his family. It was amazing to say the least, think of Braveheart, or Arthur, or any of those movies youve seen and it still doesnt come close to the power of standing in Conwy Castle.
I shot a video so you can get a quick view of what its like to stand in a tower in a true Medieval setting like Conwy Castle Pretty Amazing.
This was my first experience in a Castle and apparently Conwy Castle is one of the best. I know I started off with Hanging out with fairies and Slaying dragons.
But thats all I could keep thinking of, every Fantasy movie Ive ever seen. Very badass feeling, to think of the amazing things that happened in this Castle blows my mind.
A little History of Conwy Castle.
It was built by Edward the Longshanks, you know the jerk from Braveheart. And Jerk is a nice word, he was a ruthless tyrant. Conwy was built for terror tactics in this Welsh town. It is a awe inspiring presence that is always looming in the background.
Granted today its awesome to always be able to see a big badass castle, but you can imagine what it must have been like for the people of Conwy. A very eerie feeling knowing that the English are always there watching everything you do.
The big brother thing started a long time ago it seems.
Conwy Castle was constructed by the English monarch Edward I between 1283 and 1289 as one of the key fortresses in his iron ring of castles to contain the Welsh, was built to prompt such a humbling reaction.
There is so much history out there in the world. Traveling has become one of my key purposes in life. Through Travel we grow as human beings, and expand our consciousness.
I highly suggest anyone who is looking to change their life to get out and travel. Just do it, like Hunter S. Thompson used to say.
