How do you feel about travel?
I cant tell you enough how important travel is to personal growth
I personally live for it, we are different, but I think most of can appreciate travel. Nothing expands you as a person like immersing yourself into another culture. You learn so much about yourself through travel.
When I was twenty two I started traveling myself, it was the best decision I ever made. Ive been traveling solid since then, and am in Europe right now as Im writing this. Im actually in Gothenburg Sweden, its beautiful as can be. And I love it, I feel truly blessed to be here right now.
I came here to see Europe, and hang out with my friend and business partner Anders Fihn.
Travel to Sweden was a decision that came out of no where, I purchased the tickets on a Wednesday, and flew out on Thursday. It was exciting to say the least, and my time in Europe is just beginning, soon Ill be traveling through Holland, France, and Eastern Europe, as well as all that falls in between.
Have you ever traveled out of the country you are from? If the answer is no, then why not?
Its life changing to say the least, and it will change you inside and make you a more powerful you. You learn so much about yourself through travel its crazy.
Ive been through South America, all over North America, and now Europe. Ive been lucky, but at the same time, I worked my ass off to make all of this happen.
So I want to ask you what is holding you back from travel, what fears are keeping you from living to your full potential? There is so much out in the world to see, and if your not doing what you can to experience everything that life has to offer, your so selling yourself short in life.
It can be scary to some to travel, but once you do it, it is so liberating, even if its just for a short time, it will seriously impact your life in ways I cant explain.
Some of you have children and I understand that, but why not take your family with you?
Its healthy for a child to experience other cultures, and see the world at a young age. It will help them grow as a individual at a young age. And this is important, if you want your child to grow up understanding and appreciative of other people.
And I know that travel can get expensive, but to be honest with you, its more expensive to travel in the United States then a lot of countries you could go check out.
Travel is not as expensive as you think
For instance travel to South America is fairly cheap, the plane tickets are typically less then a thousand bucks. And once you get to say Peru, the country is super cheap to travel in, and living expenses are only a fraction of the price. The country of Peru is a site to behold, its gorgeous, and the people are wonderful.
I was blessed enough to fall in with a wonderful family in Peru, and now have very strong connections to South America, Ill tell you my story of growth in the Amazon Rain Forest some time. It was one of the most powerful experiences of my life.
The life changing Experiences you have when you travel are priceless, and will help you become the strongest best you that you can be.
Do whatever you can to travel, I dont care if you have to sacrifice some of your time and fun for a few months. Itll all be worth it if you travel outside of your own country, you can thank me later.
So whats the easiest step to travel? Its simple to travel, buy the ticket and take the ride.
Im serious, as soon as you have the money to buy the ticket, just do it, youll make yourself save money after that. And when the time comes to travel, youll feel a surge of energy pump through you like electricity.
Its one of the most liberating experiences in the world, Ill tell you some stories sometime, maybe then youll get an idea of what Im talking about.
Anyway I hope you give some serious thought to travel now, itll all be worth it, just make it happen.
