So the clock has rolled around and it is officially Christmas.
*sigh*
So here I am in Seattle, celebrating it on my own for the first time. It had to happen sooner or later...
I did have plans to go back home and visit family for the holiday, but work has me scheduled like crazy, and in case you haven't heard, Seattle has been totally snowed in for the past week - the roads are not something that any sane person would be eager to travel on.
And while I suppose I could mope around in sadness - girlfriend out of town, family several hours away, and liquor stores all closed - I fortunately am blessed enough to have some friends who have invited me over. So in the morning I get to trek over to Capitol Hill to experience and enjoy some vegan pizza and entertaining movies with good company.
And in my book, having anybody to spend the holidays with is enough to consider yourself blessed.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
