Hi Everyone last time I posted I said I would do a Marley blog today I fulfil that promise along with added cat.
Marley is a lovely cat hes is so quick and agile with a lovely soft medium hair length fur. He is an alpha cat loves being top cat. Marley runs our area and has done for a number of years I worry for the day he loses a fight badly.
In doors Marley is a lovely cat very seasonal if its nice hes outside and when its cold weather like now hes an indoors cat currently sleeping on my bed. He was my hot water bottle last night cuddled up with me under the covers.
As soon as Marley goes outdoors he is a hunter and territorial. Regularly even at 17 he catches mouses and birds!
The History of Marley
Marley was adopted from a local college vets called Kingsdon Moorwood. Marley was abandoned early in life he was abused and left by a family they believe the man was abusive.
Marley survived though keeping himself alive hunting and maybe had a family before he was rescued.
Me and Mum went looking for a new cat I discovered the timid Marley hiding from people as he was so timid. There was nothing like this gorgeous timid cat in Kingsdon I fell in love with him so I convinced Mum during our few visits he was the cat for us
At the time Marley started living with us Mum had to have her thumbs operated on. Marley was so timid he ran under the bed in our spare bedroom and would come out for food when no one was around. Mum was bedridden in the next few days with Marley and she lured him out and befriended him.

Marley is still a cat that does not like tall men and gets to know men slowly. Hes not great around kids he just leaves quickly if Seb (my nephew) is hyper but he has got better since me and Pete (brother) started living together.
Marley has silky smooth fur and loves a brush hes a very handsome cat with his short legs hes not that big but very fast and agile which makes him a deadly scrapper!!
Marley is a very smart cat he know how to prod you to get your attention if you are on the computer. He doesn't excessively meow he leads you to what he wants either food or the door.
When Mum was one her way out Marley stopped eating luckily even during the last week of Mum's life I noticed and took to him the vet. They gave him pate to fatten him up and now occasionally I treat him and Bold with some pate
Bold who is this Bold?
Bold is a ginger cat that is my brothers and is the opposite of Marley. Hes is a lovely dumb cat that is named Bold for wanting to make friends with everyone. Bold thinks with his stomach mostly meowing for food then he comes for cuddles. Bold is a placid loving cat who dribbles a lot.
Bold has been Pete's cat for years and lost his sister cat about 10 years ago
Hes always been dumb a classic funny story about him is Smidgen(sister) hasd a litter so his nephew Soldier were all in the one house. Soldier worked out to jump up and uses the door handle in the morning to get to Pete for breakfast. Soldier shipped out to a new family so Bold had got to used to seeing Pete in the mornings.
So Pete wakes up to “bang”, “bang” he finds out Bold couldn't work the trick out so had decided to charging the door!
Bold moved in the last 5 months or so as he was terribly ill as he was being neglected by brother's ex wife. We wanted Bold to live with us but knowing how territorial Marley we were wary of it.
Pete asked me and I said sure we try it. Bold was malnourished and flea covered. The flea problem spread to Marley who is allergic. So the last few months we been getting Bold healthy and getting rid of the fleas. I had to get a anti allergy shot for Marley as he was scratching himself raw
We have had a few spatts were Marley has boxed Bold but not hurt him. But now both live together fine and eat in the same room.
The best of all the last few nights Bold and Marley both slept in my room :)
They have accepted each other which is great. Now heres what you really wanted hardcore Marley action ;)
