Why hello there sit down gather round the fire and I shall tell you my story of the dreaded Corona and the panic that was a lock-down that happened after.
My name is Alan and I survived the dreaded Corona pandemic. Since April of this ya'll was locked in doors for the first few months I barely survived by playing my switch and doing Netflix and cat with this amazing creature.
But things got rough and my rest cycle fell apart nab dam it and I lost contact with my friends. This lasted about a month of lockdown till I decided to get my shit together an man up get on my PC socailise online and get ready for my birthday.
Whilst in lockdown whats a stud like myslef to do with no barbers a lack of people contact but let the beard grow!
My brother Peter instructs Karate and Kubudo and owns a gym for a living so he was teaching over Zoom. So what's a varmit like myself to do to stay fit, walk abit yeah but fightings were its at!!
So I have trained and looking to train more with him on Kubudo the art of hitting people with weapons my favourite is the big stick he calls the Bo.
If your wondering which one I am your not to bright just accept I am the better looking one with all my own hair ;)
So that brings me up to my birthday on the 13th of May. I was hoping to have a hoe down a good old barn raiser party but Boris "Botcher" Johnson has handled the Corona as well as he does addressing a camera with lots of ums, ems till he spits something out. If the UK was organised and not run poorly we might not be facing a 2nd wave as you make it illegal for people to use the beachs like you should of. Its obvious the weather has got hot here no people can go to Spian they will hit the beaches like Weymouth and spread the disease amongt each other. No one in the Tory goverment thought of this raging bull of a problem needed being taken by the horns and tied up?
Away from politics as this is a story of my lockdown rather then of the dastardly villan who has made it much worse for everyone.
My birthday was nice we had pizza at my request with all 5 of us Me, Pete, Sebastian, Brendan and are our lodger Oliv. I was given some amazing presents : Joker, American Gods book, Alexisonfire cd and 3 JD and coke cans. After dinner we settled down to a family film of a studio ghibli called the Cat Returns which everyone enjoyed.
As I couldn't have a barn storming party with my friends like I wanted to I thought I'd embrace my cooking skills for my family. I am creative cowboy and as it was my birthday dish I creaed the Meatgasm
It was a pasta meat hybrid. With Mince,Chrizo, Salmai, Pepperoni and left over BBQ cumberland sausages.
Cooked in Extra large pasta shells and lasgane layers with spaghetii crisped opn top. All in Llyod grossman sauces that i season to garlic high level.
Covered in white lasagne sauce with dry spaghetti in the white sauce covered in Extra mature chedder. All cooked in extra virgin olive oil that was drizzled on the top to crisp it off served with garlic bread. Here are some photo proof
Two weeks later it was our lodger Oliv's birthday. She was a lucky lady though as lockdown got relaxed a biut and she was able to see her friends which was nice here is a photo of Oliv and the Thompson bros
The day after we explored the next town Portland a long walk through the Quarry cliff sides and the Pirates Graveyard as pictured below
Unfortunatly my friend Lisa's cat Mickey passed away this weekend from a kidney infection he was very thin by the end. Lisa came home to find Mickey dead under his favourite palm tree with his sister Evie crying over him a hearbreaking scene.
We couldnt bury Mickey in the back garden so we took him out into the fields and buried him under a nice tree that night.
The following day we had planned a BBQ. The BBQ became in honour of Mickey an my Mum as 27th June was her birthday. It was a grreat birthday much meat and little salad was consumed. Here is the evidence of the BBQ
The last thing is how I have looked to reset my sleep cycle and make a routine of early to bed wake up then a few more hours sleep get abou 4-5 hours a night which is plenty.
From tomorrow I start my studies of C++ so I can be my own boss developing games from my own home thats the plan. Look out for A Head of the Flock studios that will be my studio.
Anyway hopefully I there won't be a 2nd wave and I will have exited lockdown with a sleep cycle and a better back garden and a sorted garage.
