Today is the first of the birthdays I am heading out for a young lad I've got to know well recently called PJ. I got in a fight recently defending him and the other lad from some unsavoury characters thats all I can say in case it passed on to the police whcih it might well be. I myself have to be very careful about kind of fights as I am a trained martial artist 25 years black belt in Goju- ryu karate and otehr martial arts like weapons. So anything I do to defend myself has to be minimum force. After being headbutted I was well within my rights to strike back but thats not what I wanted as I was trying to mediate I just walked away. Sometimes violence begets more violence and I just wanted the viloence ended and showing that his best headbutt had no effect but to make me bleed a bit meant the situation was resolved with as little violence as possible :)
