Life, as it is more commonly called, is just about existing. Once you start taking it beyond that, you stop really living it.

Here we are, on the verge of another great depression. On the verge of another civil war. On the verge of another world war. Dare I say it, on the verge of another Dark Age.

We have engendered this pathetic excuse of an existence ourselves. Millennia of indoctrination from various religions that spread hatred, bigotry, and misogyny. Preference for fantasy over reality. Preference for feelings over reason. Preference for ignorance over enlightenment. Preference for greed and vanity over consideration and humility.

We are nearing the end. The majority of species on this planet will face extinction by the end of the century. Experts state that it will be a very different place to live by 2050. We are ensuring not only our own demise, but the demise of virtually every living thing on this planet. Yet, religion holds life to be sacred...
