On another note I'm going to have to say that I'm throwing it in. Unless we decide to go completely instrumental, which I think we should, there's no way I want to go through another singer search. All we have come up with is miss after Yinzer miss. If a singer isn't a complete flake, then they don't drive. If they drive, they're a complete flake. I just tired of it. It's going nowhere. I've been experimenting a lot at home and am finding one thing out. I'm not good at writing catchy, bullshit riffs or putting together show stopper compositions. What I am good at is writing songs with some progression, layers, mood and dynamics.
The only way we're going to make decent music together is if we go instrumental, give up on making rock songs and just make some fucking music. What are we trying to prove? Why do we have to have a singer? What makes a band that has a singer better? I mean we're a local band stuck in a local scene so why keep doing the same thing anyway?
I'm tired of beating around the bush. Fuck it.

Do whatever moves you. Instrumental music can be awesome. It sounds like you've got the right attitude about it anyway. IF the rest of your band doesn't feel you, do it by yourself. With technology today you certainly don't need a band to make good music.
