I can't stand talking to my grandfather. I love the guy; he's my grandfather, how can I not? But the guy can't hear anything since he's completely deaf, and he gets angry at you when you yell to try and tell him something. What's worse is that because his eyesight is so bad, he has to listen to books on tape. That's not bad in itself, but when he's listening to one of them, he sets them at an earsplitting volume. So not only do I have to yell through his deafness, I have to yell over the damn tape. So his pissed at me for yelling at him, and he doesn't have sense enough to turn off the tape so I don't have to yell so loud, and then he gets even angrier when I turn the tape. I can't fucking win with that guy. And I can barely open my mouth in the first fucking place because of the scabs forming on my gums, so not only is he getting angry at me for yelling and turning off his tape, it's cause me pain in addition to the annoyance. Fuckin family
