Back on the Job
Today was my first day back after my abysmal showing on Friday, and I did much better this time around. I got my first $60 donation today, and I collected 16 letters to the Leg. I only had a total of two contributors, though. Part of the problem is that so many of the people among whom we canvass are poor and working class, people who don't have a lot of money. It makes me uncomfortable to ask for money from people who really can't afford it, especially when there are much richer neighborhoods in which we can beg.
